The company registered net profit of Rs 248 crore in the same period a year ago, LTI said in a statement.
Its revenue was up 13 per cent to Rs 1,883.7 crore in the reported quarter from Rs 1,666.7 crore in the year-ago period.
"Large deal win momentum over the last 18 months has helped us deliver an outstanding 8.5 per cent sequential growth in USD revenues in Q3," L&T Infotech Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Sanjay Jalona said.
"Digital now contributes one-third of our overall revenues. The synergies from Syncordis acquisition are helping us initiate new conversations in Europe," Jalona said.
The company's revenue in US dollar terms grew 19.7 per cent year-on-year to USD 293.5 million.
Its total headcount stood at 23,394 people at the end of December 2017 quarter, while attrition was at 14.6 per cent.
