Latur Labour Court has ordered that all properties of the Tulja Bhawani Mandir Trust be sealed for failing to follow an earlier order.
The trust manages the famous Tulja Bhawani temple at Tuljarpur in Osmanabad district.
Divisional Labour Assistant Commmissioner S G Mundhe issued the order three days ago after the temple trust failed to pay salary arrears of five of its retired employees.
The administrate building, temple library, rest house building of the Tulja Bhawani engineering college, among others (but not the temple itself) should be sealed, the order said.
Five former employees of the trust had approached the labour court, and the court, on August 26, 2016, had ordered the trust to pay them their salary arrears with 12 per cent interest.
However, the temple trust didn't pay the dues, the latest order said.
"We have received the court's order to seal the properties. We will take further decision after taking our legal advisor's opinion," said Tulja Bhawani Mandir Trust member and Sub Divisional Magistrate Chetan Girase.
