A Labour Enforcement Officer was today arrested by the vigilance department on graft charges from Bailey Road near a public school in the state capital, an official release said.
Acting on a complaint, a vigilance team headed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Md Ali Ansari laid a trap and caught the Labour Enforcement Officer Ajay Kumar Kumar red-handed as soon as he took a bribe of Rs 13,000 from the complainant Mahesh Kumar Singh, the release said.
