Labourer killed in wall collapse near Jama Masjid

Ahead of Eid, a 24-year-old labourer was killed today when a wall of an under-construction building collapsed near the Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, police said.
Zubair Alam worked as a construction labourer and resided near the Jama Masjid.
"He was working at the site this afternoon when a wall collapsed, killing him," an official said.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, the official added.
The body has been preserved for post-mortem.
