"Though we have announced that Lahore will be hosting the finals of the league but as of now nothing is confirmed. We are keeping all options open and the venue may change once again," former India captain Pargat said today.
The organizers earlier had said that the final was being shifted from Mohali to Lahore.
"Actually, we received a special request from chief minister of Pakistan's Punjab province so to enhance the experience of the tournament and also as a sign of a friendly relation with the neighbor we took the decision of taking the finals to Lahore," he said.
While talking about the ongoing Pro-Kabaddi League, the commissioner said,"I often hear people talking about rivalry and competition between the two leagues, but I don't find anything like that. The two leagues are complimentary to each other. Both are being played in different formats so watching both the leagues are itself an experience."
The India leg of WKL today kicked off at yje Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The league has already completed the UK leg with matches being held in London and Birmingham between August 9 and 21.
