The state government has been "so callous about the plight of the minority community youths that it came to know about the arrest of from media reports as its intelligence agencies were founding sleeping," Prasad claimed.
He also pooh-poohed claim of development work by Nitish Kumar during the NDA rule and said that whatever good work was done in Bihar was due to the largesses of the central government of which his party was a constituent.
On Kumar's pet political agenda of special category status for Bihar, the RJD supremo warned him against making it a partisan issue and said that he and his party were prepared to join an agitation to press the demand.
The RJD workers too will go to jail if the Chief Minister launched an agitation on the special status issue by soliciting support of all political parties, he said.
