Land allotment rules to industry to be simplified, says MP CM

Madhya Pradesh government today said that rules to allot land for industries would be simplified in a month.
Directives in this regard were given by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during a high-level meeting to review investment proposals generated by the Global Investors' Summit here.
He asked the Chief Secretary to convene a meeting of all concerning departments, review their rules for land allotment and ensure that they are simplified within a prescribed time-limit, an official release said.
Members of the cabinet were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister directed that every department should deploy its competent officers to the Madhya Pradesh Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation Ltd (TRIFAC) by October 31 to implement the single-window policy, the release said.
These officers would give permissions pertaining to their departments. Notification for policy reforms must be issued by October 31. Outline for formation of companies to establish Venture Capital Fund should be presented within a month, the release said.

Every possible effort should be made to make it easy to do business in Madhya Pradesh, the release said.
The Chief Minister directed continuous follow-up of MoUs signed with various companies for organic products.
New dairy societies should be formed to increase milk production and the Sanchi Brand of the State Dairy Federation should be established as global brand, the release said.
