J Ganesan, Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa inaugurated the project in a programme organised at Kamaal village, the spokesman said.
He said any person belonging to this village could get authorised documents of his land in any part of the world. Land record of Sirsa district was already digitised, he said.
The National Land Record Modernisation Programme has been implemented in this village as a pilot project and now it would be launched in the entire country, he said.
Villagers would no longer have to visit any Patwari or revenue officer for getting any document related to their land record, he said.
The process of making the land record online was being done on the basis of 'Qilabandi' of the record done in 1957.
All the information regarding 'Mussavi', 'Jamabandi', field book etc has been made online, he said.
The project was a joint venture of Sirsa District Administration, Haryana Space Application Centre and Infotech Enterprises Limited, Hyderabad, he said.
