Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner Abu Tayeng, who is personally monitoring the situation, instructed the Border Road Organization (BRO) to restore the road communication immediately.

The DC asked the BRO to position men and machinery immediately at vulnerable points prone to landslides and frequent erosions.

Vehicles carrying PDS items and other essentials commodities were stranded at various points which may cause shortage of essential commodities.

Massive erosions have reportedly occurred at places like Endulin and Erone under Arzoo circle of Dibang Valley.
