"From the overview today what I gathered that minimalism is no more in vogue, it's all about larger than lifestyles and products at the exhibition this time," Archana Pillai, group publisher and CEO, Ogaan, a multi-designer fashion boutique and one of the participants at the "India Design ID', which began here today said.
From sofas and carpets embellished with Swarovski crystals, to in house cover Jacuzzis to fireplaces of various sizes and comfortable furniture are on show at the three-day exposition.
Organisers have put up three different Pavilions for Decoration, Design and Trend.
At the trend pavilion different type of textures and materials for flooring are showcased along with an eye for comfort but yet adhere to the modern contemporary designs.

"As homes become more contemporary in aesthetics, the most personal area of the house has also undergone concomitant changes with respect to design and appeal," Pau Abello, Managing Director Roca said.
The output of an extensive research process, the Colour of the Year and the four colour trends of the year have been identified by some of India's top designers, architects, advertising professionals and sociologists.
"Colour Next is the outcome of a journey across India to gauge the subtle changes in societal behaviour that impact decor behaviour.
