The 85-year-old singer took to Twitter to remember the "Jewel Thief" star, who died on December 3, 2011 in London after suffering a cardiac arrest.
"Today is the birth anniversary of everyone's favourite Dev Anand. He was a great human being and was always very humble with everyone. I pay my respect to his memories," she tweeted.
Mangeshkar, who crooned many of the hit tracks of films starring Dev Anand, also shared a link of song "Gata Rahe Mera Dil" from one of his most appreciated performance in a film- "Guide".
"Kala Pani", "Prem Pujari", "Guide", "Paying Guest", "CID" and "Tere Ghar Ke Samne" are some of his most celebrated films.
