The 86-year-old singing legend took to Twitter to congratulate the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star for 50 glorious years of his life.
"Namaskar. I congratulate and wish good luck to @BeingSalmanKhan on his 50th birthday," wrote Mangeshkar.
The singer also tweeted the link of the song "Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali" from Salman's first film as lead, "Maine Pyar Kiya".
Sung by SP Balasubramanyam, who was considered Salman's voice during 90's, the song from the hit 1989 film was composed by music director Raamlaxman.
Salman ringed in his birthday with family and friends at his Panvel farmhouse.
