Aditi (69-73) is now two-under for 36 holes and lying tied-46th as the cut fell at one-under. Her late revival helped keep her alive in the tournament for the weekend.
Aditi, who has been in great form on the Ladies European Tour, started from three-under on the first day, and bogeyed twice in first four holes while starting on the back nine of the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.
Playing bravely and superbly, she birdied the sixth, seventh and eighth to get back to two-under for the tournament before parring the par-5 ninth for a day's card of 73.
Icelandic rookie Olafia Kristinsdottir remained ice-cool as she shot a red-hot second round of 66, extending her lead to three shots in the inaugural Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open.
The 24-year-old from Reykjavik refused to crack under pressure, backing up her opening round of 65 to lead on 13-under ahead of four other players.
