Yesterday night, the lawmaker tweeted that even "Hitler thought it more important than Obama to get to Paris," referring to Hitler's visit to the vanquished city during World War II.
Obama is under criticism for failing to join other world leaders at a unity march in Paris on Sunday.
The tweet was denounced as "vile" by congressional Democrats.
