Lawn Bowl player missing on way to Australia

A Lawn Bowl player Anwari Khatoon has gone missing on June 1o while she was on her way to catch a flight for Australia to take part in the Australia Open Lawn Bowl Tournament.
A complaint was registered under Town police station in Medininagar, Palamau district by her father Md Yusuf today, the police said.
In his complaint, Yusuf stated that Khatoon had left for Ranchi five days ago to catch a flight to Australia from Delhi, but went missing since.
There was no trace of her and her mobile phone was also switched off, he stated.
Officer-in-Charge of the police station, Sanjay Kumar Malviya, said investigation was on.
Khatoon won a gold medal in National Lawn Bowl championship and also bagged a bronze in the Kerala National Games.
Palamau District Policemen's Association has helped Khatoon with Rs one lakh to take part in the tournament in Australia.
