The accused, identified as Jitendra Prasad Patel, was arrested by the Amboli police in suburban Andheri on Monday.
"Four accused, including Jitendra, armed with a pistol, which later turned out to be fake, nylon ropes and a big paper cutter, barged into advocate Rajesh Gehani's office in Andheri (W) around 5 PM and threatened him at gunpoint," police said.
The accused told Gehani that if he did not give it in writing that he had accepted money from the opposite side in a legal case and managed the case, he would be killed, police added.
"Only one accused has been arrested in the case, while three others are still absconding," senior inspector of Amboli police station, Ramesh Kathdare, said.
