According to a press statement issued by NDBA, a general body meeting (GBM) was held today to discuss the issue of "abusing, threatening and unethical behaviour" of advocate Vijay Aggarwal who on March 1 had allegedly threatened a lawyer and also called some bouncers in the court premises.
"In accordance with the unanimous resolution of the GBM of NDBA, Vijay Aggarwal has been expelled from the membership of NDBA and chamber number 251 of Vijay Aggarwal has been sealed today," the statement said.
"Initially, I was threatened not to appear in the case but when I appeared and the judge granted police custody remand of the client of Rajiv Jai and turned them out of the court room for creating ruckus, they tried to manhandle me after the proceedings were over. I ran to the judge's room and police was called."
