"When Indian cricket team is playing at International level like in World Cup entire nation is bonded in the euphoria. I think that lawyers should also exhibit similar kind of bondage in their profession," Justice Sikri said while inaugurating the K K Luthra memorial inter-bar cricket tournament of 2014.
Justice Sikri declared the tournament open at a function which was graced by former Indian cricket team opener Gautam Gambhir and two Delhi High Court judges Rajiv Shakdher and S Muralidhar.
Justices Rajiv Shakdher and S Muralidhar both shared their interest in cricket saying that the sportsman spirit always keep people refreshing.
Gambhir striking a lighter note said that it is difficult to talk in front of high profile dignitaries and it was better if he would have been listening among the audience.
