Lead, copper remain weak on global cues

Prices of lead and copper fell by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous market today amid a weakening global trend.
Traders said sentiments remained bearish after lead dropped to 28-month low in global markets.
Meanwhile, lead for delivery in three months fell 2.3 per cent to USD 1,841 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, lead ingot and lead imported shed another Rs 2 each to Rs 96 and Rs 97, while copper mixed scrap traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 415 per kg, respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 110-116, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,087-1,093, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 415, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 96, Lead imported 97, Aluminium ingots 164, Aluminium sheet cutting 165, Aluminium wire scrap 167 and Aluminium utensils scrap 164.
