Lead, copper weaken on global cues

Prices of lead and copper fell by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metals market today on stockists selling influenced by a weak global trend.
Traders said sentiment turned bearish after lead trimmed its second monthly advance in global markets as stockpiles rose to the highest in more than six months.
Meanwhile, lead for delivery in three months slid 2.3 per cent to USD 2,214.50 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, lead ingot and lead imported were down by Rs 2 each to Rs 113 and Rs 111, while copper mixed scrap traded lower by the same margin to Rs 434 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 115-121, Nickel plate (4x4) 1,086-1,092, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 434, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 113, Lead imported 111, Aluminium ingots 159, Aluminium sheet cutting 160, Aluminium wire scrap 162 and Aluminium utensils scrap 159.
