At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in May traded higher by 50 paise, or 0.40 per cent to Rs 126.55 per kg in business turnover of 751 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in June contract moved up by 45 paise, or 0.35 per cent to Rs 127.70 per kg in 17 lots.
Market analysts attributed the rise in lead futures to pick up in demand from battery-makers in the spot market.
