Lead prices were down by 0.80 per cent to Rs 111.35 per kg in futures trade today amid subdued demand at the spot market and a weak global trend.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in June eased by 90 paise, or 0.80 per cent to Rs 111.35 per kg in a business turnover of 5,571 lots.
The metal for delivery in July contracts shed Rs 80 paise, or 0.71 per cent to Rs 112.65 per kg in 973 lots.
Analysts said besides low demand from battery-makers at the domestic spot market, weakness in base metals at the London Metal Exchange weighed on lead futures here.
