Lead prices strengthened by 0.48 per cent to Rs 167.95 per kg in futures market today as speculators built up positions following a pick up in demand in the spot market amid positive global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in February edged higher by 80 paise, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 167.95 per kg in a business turnover of 417 lots.
