Lead down by 0.1% as demand slackens

Lead prices weakened 0.09% to Rs 115.30 per kg in futures trade today as speculators offloaded positions driven by muted demand in the spot market.

London Metal Exchange was closed for a public holiday.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in September shed 10 paise, or 0.09%, to Rs 115.30 per kg in a business turnover of 174 lots.
