Leader of Opposition in Odisha and Congress stalwart Narasingha Mishra today alleged that the protocol was "deliberately violated" during the swearing-in of ministers today when he had to sit in the fourth row.
Though as per protocol, the Leader of Opposition of Odisha Assembly is to be treated at par with the cabinet ministers, in today's swearing-in at Raj Bhavan the sitting arrangement was such that he had to sit in the fourth row, Mishra said.
The Congress leader claimed that the cabinet ministers, ministers of state and MPs and MLAs sat in the rows in front of him.
Further, in the chaos and disorder of the "badly managed" event, he was even pushed and elbowed which hurt his head by one reporter, Mishra said adding he has boycotted the at home party.
