The party's chief spokesman Randeep Surjewala wanted to know if Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take action either against Home Ministry officials if they have leaked the report or against the Governor J P Rajkhowa if he has leaked the report.
He told reporters here that the Governor's report giving reasons for the recommendations to dismiss the state government was not made available to the apex court yesterday.
"It is an affront to the Constitution Bench of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. It is also an affront to the Constitutional modes and it is an affront to the basic tenets of federalism and democracy", he said.
Attacking the Modi dispensation on the Arunachal issue, he said "disregard of Constitution, mockery of democracy and disdain for federalism have become its hallmarks".
