LeBron's role in the comedy is being kept under wraps along with the movie's plot.
Rapper Cliff Smith, famously known as Method Man, has also been cast in the Universal picture, which is being scripted by 'Funny As Hell' writer Amy Schumer.
LeBron James is also attached to star in 'Space Jam 2'.
Meanwhile, the basketball star's comedy show was been given a series order by Starz in February.
