"In the electricity department, in all public programmes, the guests would be welcomed with a LED bulbs rather than bouquet of flowers," Power Minister Kadakampally Surendran today said.
"Such a step should be seen as government's efforts towards power conservation," the minister said in a Facebook post today.
He urged all employees to cooperate to ensure the success of the environment friendly decision.
