Former Indian women national champion Aparna Popat will be the team advisor of the Mumbai side.
Tey Seu Bock, also former national coach of the Malaysian team, has a new challenge of leading a team with players from multi-cultural background to compete in the USD 1-million Vodafone IBL.
Speaking on his appointment as the chief coach of Mumbai Masters in the IBL, Tey Seu Bock, said, "It is an honour to be associated with a team which already has star players. It will be a new experience for me to travel with players from all across the world in an event which is taking badminton to a completely new level."
Akhilesh Das Gupta, Badminton Association of India President said, "It's a matter of great pride to have Tey Seu Bock, who has played a huge role in the success of world number one Lee Chong Wei, as the coach for the Mumbai Masters team.
