A decision in this regard was taken at a coordination committee meeting of the Left parties yesterday, CPI(M) leader Vijaykant Thakur said.
Thakur, who presided over the meeting, said that a series of programmes like padayatras, 'nukkad' meetings and village meetings will be held to put pressure on the Centre to enact a comprehensive food security bill for the benefit of the common man.
Protest programmes will be held at the circle offices on July 25 and at the district collectorate on July 30 next, he said.
The month-long agitation will end on August three next.
