Left parties including CPI and CPI(M) will hold a joint convention here on November 1 to chalk out an agitation programme against Rajasthan government's alleged anti-labour and anti-farmers policies.
"Anti-farmer, anti-people and anti-labour policies and rising inflation in the BJP ruled Rajasthan have affected common man's life but Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was busy in Resurgent Rajasthan Summit slated next month," Amraram, state secretary of CPI-M, told a joint press conference here today.
The former CPI(M) MLA said that thousands of party workers and leaders will participate in the convention of five Left parties.
On the day of Resurgent Rajasthan Summit on November 19, Left parties would hold a day-long sit in all 33 district headquarters and submit a memorandum to the collectors demanding welfare works and jobs as promised by BJP before the Assembly polls in 2013, Amraram said.
The press conference was addressed by CPI's state secretary D K Changani, Forward Block's secretary Heerachand Jain, MCIP (U) state secretary Rampal, and CPI-ML's state secretary Mahendra Choudhary.
