Leighton Meester and boyfriend Adam Brody in 'Life Partners'

'Gossip Girls' star Leighton Meester is all set to star alongside boyfriend Adam Brody in 'Life Partners', a comedy that marks the directorial debut of Susanna Fogel.
The film also stars Gillian Jacobs, Gabourey Sidibe, Abby Elliott and Beth Dover. The comedy is about a codependent friendship between two very different girls -Paige (Jacobs) and lesbian slacker Sasha (Meester), reported Deadline.
Paige has vowed that she won't get married until Sasha has the same legal right and that works out fine until Paige meets Tim (Brody), a young and charming doctor. As a crucial vote on gay marriage approaches, the threesome struggle with issues of love, friendship, and loyalty.

Jordana Mollick and Brendan Bragg of Black Sheep Management & Productions are producing alongside Riva Marker and Daniela Taplin Lundberg.
Daniel Crown will executive produce with Anne O'Shea of Minerva Productions and Peter Touche of Sandia Media.
