The company plans to open 40 such stores in south and west regions of the country by the end of current financial year.
The stores will serve as a one stop destination to cater to the technology needs of all users.
"We are investing in areas such as product innovation, retail innovation and new markets to build a brand that is regarded as a smart connected devices player," Lenovo India Director (HSB segment) Shailendra Katyal said in a statement.
Lenovo said it will consciously look at malls and high streets to launch the new format stores owing to the visibility and high footfalls offered by these locations.
To understand the needs and nature of the customers, Lenovo has invested in trained personnel called LenovoPros, who engage with customers on the shop floor to help them make a well-informed decision, the company said.
