The 27-year-old 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker, who is an avid supporter of animal rights group PETA, feels the verses in West's new song are offensive, reported Ace Showbiz.

"Heard that awful Kanye West song talking about minx dragging on the floor. What an awful thing to be proud of! I take all my love for him back!(sic)," Lewis posted on Twitter.

In the song, West provoked the animal rights organization by ridiculing their cause and using derogatory language.

In response, the organisation issued a statement, "What's dragging on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He is a great musician but does not seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes."

West had to change the name of the song which was formerly titled 'Theraflu' due to objections from the makers of the cold and flu medicine.
