Leopard found dead in estate area

A carcass of leopard was found in an estate area in Valparai in the district today, Forest Department sources said.
The villagers noticed the carcass of the carnivore and informed the Forest Department Officials, who rushed to the spot in Vellamalai Estate area, they said.
Investigations are on to ascertain the cause of the death, they said.
