Leopard injures 3; killed by villagers

Three farmers were today injured, one of them seriously, by a leopard at Jaimal Singh Wala village in the district, officials said.
Later, the leopard was located in a wheat field and shot dead by the villagers, they said adding the wild cat injured the farmers when they were irrigating their fields.
Forest Range Officer Jugraj Singh, who rushed to the village, took the dead animal to Moga Animal Hospital for post mortem.
The injured have been admitted to a local hospital, they said.
