Leopard trapped in TATR buffer area

A man-eater leopard on prowl for the last fortnight was finally captured today in the buffer zone of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in the district, a senior official said today.
Forest workers noticed today that the big cat is trapped in one of the four cages put up in TATR buffer area.
The feline was shifted to Moharli Leopard Rescue Centre, said an official statement issued by Deputy Director (Buffer), Gajendra Narwane.
The two victims of the big cat in the last fortnight were a 32-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man.
