LIC deduction through SPARK system

The Kerala government has permitted deduction of LIC premia from the salaries of employees in the government aided institutions through 'SPARK' (Service and Payroll Administrative Repository of Kerala).
The data relating to the premiums so deducted will be sent to LIC electronically by the Directorate of Treasuries, an LIC release said here today.
The required of date caputire of individual employees including the policy number, premium amount, contct information and the bank account details coule now be completed through SPARK as a one time job so that the Salary Savings policies continue to be in force, the release added.
