License policy for pvt investment in water sports in pipeline

The Madhya Pradesh government is charting out a license policy to attract private investment in water sports at tourists places across the state.
"To woo private investors for promoting water sports activities at tourists' places are blueprinting a licensing policy, " MP Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) additional managing director Tanvi Sundriyal told reporters on the sidelines of national conference of Federation of Hotel and Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) here.
He said emphasis is being laid on tourists' safety and pollution free water sports centres under the license policy are being readied.
Suggestions of stakeholders and investors are being sought for bringing out the license policy, he added.
Sundriyal said that they were trying to come out with the license policy during the Global Investors' Summit (GIS) to be held on October 22 and 23 here.
"We want to attract private investment in water sports activities especially in and around river Narmada, Som and Chambal rivers," another officer of MPTDC said.
