Additional Sessions Judge Kaveri Baweja sentenced Old Delhi resident Aslam and his two sons Sammi and Asraf on the basis of the dying declaration of victim Arti.
Apart from the three, Asraf's daughter Humma too was also a co-accused in the case and was declared a proclaimed offender.
"The deceased had clearly stated in her dying declaration that accused persons used to state that she had humiliated them as she had married to Javed who was a Muslim while she was a Hindu. She has clearly stated that accused persons used to dislike her," the court said, convicting the trio.
The prosecution case was that the accused had set Aslam's nephew Javed's wife Arti on fire on October 16, 2010.
In her dying declaration, Arti had told SDM that she had married Javed four and half years ago and the accused did not like her because she was a Hindu. They would often pick up quarrel with her saying that she had humiliated them in the society, she added.
On the day of the incident, Humma had entered into a quarrel with her and Aslam asked his two sons to set her afire, she told the SDM in her dying declaration adding she poured kerosene oil on her and set her ablaze.
She added her husband and parents-in-law were not at home at the time of the incident but returned just when she ran out of house and poured milk on herself from a drum kept in a nearby shop and rushed her to the hospital.

The police told the court that Arti, who had suffered 95 burn injuries, died in the hospital later.
The court rejected defence argument that the three were implicated in the case by Javed owing to certain tenancy issues.
