The Lifeline express arrived in Palghar last week and will treat patients and people coming from nearby villages till January 30, founder director and CEO of Impact India Foundation Zelma Lazarus said in a statement today.
Lazarus said it is the 159th project of Lifeline express here under which patients with visual and hearing disabilities, facial deformities (cleft lips) will be treated.
Gynaecological and paediatrics checkups will also be held.
She said it for the first time that newly formed district Palghar which has a predominantly tribal population, will receive services of the Lifeline Express.
