Delhi witnessed light rain on Wednesday morning, with the mercury settling at 14.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
The weatherman said that there is possibility of more rains later in the day, adding hailstorm is also likely at isolated places in the city.
According to the meteorological department, 1.6 mm rainfall was recorded at the Safdarjung observatory till 8.30 am.
"The skies will remain cloudy. There is possibility of light rain and hailstorm later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius," an official said.
On Tuesday, the minimum temperature settled at 12 degrees Celsius while, the maximum temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius.
