Light rain likely in some areas

The city woke up to a hot morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius and very light rain or thundershower is likely in some areas later in the day.
The sky will remain partly cloudy, the MeT office said in its forecast. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius.
"The minimum temperature was 28.4 degrees Celsius, in keeping with the season's average," a weather official said.
There is a likelihood of very light rain or thundershower in some areas towards the evening,
Humidity was 54 per cent at 8.30 AM, the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 30.4 degrees Celsius.
