Light rainfall in parts areas of Delhi

After a partially cloudy and a warm day, Delhiites got some respite with light showers in the evening.
The minimum temperature settled at 28.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal for the season.
According to the Meteorological Department, traces of rainfall were reported till 5.30 pm in Palam, Safdarjung, Aya Nagar and Ridge area in the city, while Lodhi Road received 0.2 mm of rains.
The maximum temperature was recorded as 36.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above season's average.
The weatherman has predicted cloudy sky with rain and thunderstorm likely for tomorrow.
The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow would be around 33 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 34.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 27.7 degrees Celsius.
