The lack of rainfall led to rise in mercury by a few degrees in parts of the state, the MeT Department said.
Sri Ganganagar was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 40.3 degrees Celsius.
Churu recorded its maximum at 38.5 degrees Celsius, while the mercury in Jaisalmer and Bikaner settled at 38.1 and 37.8 Degrees Celsius respectively, it said.
Barmer braved a hot day at 36.9 degrees Celsius, whereas Pilani also recorded a similar maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius.
The weatherman has predicted rainfall/thunderstorm with rainfall likely at isolated places of the state.
