Light rains at several places in Raj

Light rains occurred at isolated areas of Rajasthan while Jaisalmer was today recorded as hottest place in the state at 42 degrees Celsius.
Jaisalmer was followed by Churu at 41.2 degrees Celsius. Kota recorded a maximum of 40.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Pilani at 40.2 and Jaipur at 40 degrees Celsius, an official of MeT department said here.
Meanwhile, very light rainfall occurred at isolated places in the state. Sriganganagar recorded 0.2 mm rains till evening today since the morning.
Light rains are expected at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours, according to a forecast.
