According to the meteorological department, the day temperatures fell in Meerut, Bareilly, Kanpur and Allahabad.
They were appreciably above normal in Jhansi, Agra and Moradabad and normal in the remaining parts of the state.
Jhansi was the hottest place in the state, where the mercury touched 44.7 degrees Celsius mark.
The weather department has forecast rains and thundershowers as very likely at isolated places over the state tomorrow.
Weather is most likely to remain dry over eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh on April 24 and April 25, they said.
