Light rains, thundershowers lower temperatures in east UP

Light rains and thundershowers brought down temperatures in eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh today, bringing respite from hot weather conditions.
Allahabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.9 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
The weatherman has forecast dry conditions almost all over the state during the next few days.
