Light showers bring temperature down in national capital

A pleasant weather prevailed in the national capital today with light showers in early morning bringing down the temperature by six to seven degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 19 degree Celsius, six notches below the normal, while the maximum temperature was 32 degree Celsius, seven notches below the normal, MeT department officials said.
According to the MeT department, the city received 3.6-mm rain between 8.30 AM yesterday and 8.30 this morning.
The humidity recorded this morning was 76 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky with very light rains or thundershowers in some areas.

The maximum temperature tomorrow is expected to be around 33 degree C while the minimum is tipped to hover around 20 degrees, the MeT department officials added.
