Except Patna, which recorded 3.2 mm rainfall during the day, no other major cities in the state received any rainfall.
Purnea and Bhagalpur recorded 0.4 mm and 0.3 mm rainfall respectively (recorded between 8:30 am on Tuesday to 8:30 am on Wednesday), Met office bulletin said.
Places like Kahalgaon received 4 cm rainfall while Motihari registered 3 cm of rainfall, it said and added that Jehanabad, Galgalia, Jandaha, Birpur recorded 2 cm rainfall each while Taibpur, Makhdumpur, Bahadurganj, Birpur received one cm each.
As per the Met office Patna and other cities witnessed increase in maximum temperature by few notches.
The humidity level in Patna was recorded between 80 to 88 per cent during the day while humidity level in other cities hovered between 70 to 83 per cent.
In its forecast, the Met office said that Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea are likely to witness generally cloudy sky with the possibility of rain or thunder shower tomorrow.
